We are so very happy to join you on your journey in creating and/or maintaining your own #Ford, #Lincoln or #Mercury Vehicle story of memories.

My Ford Story

Back in high school, I found for sale, a 1969 Ford Sportsroof #Mustang from Texas. It was exactly what I had been searching for. The picture above, is me with the Mustang in Duluth, MN on a sunny warm day of 2 degrees Fahrenheit. (Can you see the snow in the background?) I was newly married, in fact we were on our honeymoon, nearly 40 years ago. I was so proud of that car.

I know for most folks today, it was crazy to drive such a car in the winter. But it was the only car we had. It was rebuilt ground up. So I was not concerned of break down. However, I should have been more concerned about the effect to the value of the car 4 decades later.

Why did we build this site?

It was a culmination of spending some time trying to understand the scope and breadth of today's market of #automobileclubs primarily focused on Ford, Lincoln and Mercury products.

I could not believe all of the sites devoted to Ford Automobiles and Trucks. I greatly enjoyed reading about the various car clubs and the communities that were the fabric of these clubs.

We wanted to bring a site to other enthusiasts that allowed them to "test the waters" by giving them easy access to other Ford, Lincoln and Mercury automobile products and automotive clubs. I am a Ford Muscle Car person who has great interest in the 60's and early 70's cars, However, I have also loved going to #MSRA "Back to the 50'" event at the Minnesota State Fairground each year to see the 10,000+ cars and trucks on display... talking with the owners and their families as my family walked the fairground eating mini donuts and pizza. We are always amazed and impressed by the design of the cars of Ford, in the years leading up and through the 1950's.

We have lots of things planned for growing the #YourFordStory.org site. We will welcome your feedback and suggestions.
